if you try to add music to your library and a directory contains a jpeg file
(for example cover scan), rhythmbox will crash because gstreamer can't handle
this file properly.

I am unable to reproduce this with latest gstreamer-0.8/rhythmbox combo.

Can you still reproduce and what version of gst-plugins-ffmpeg-0.8.? are you using ?

I'm using gst-plugins-ffmpeg-0.8.7-r1.

I'm not able to reproduce this either. Mimetype checking support was added to rhythmbox a while ago.

Bug reporter any reason to keep this open ?
