Suggestions / things to think about:
  - AbiWord prints.  unmerge, then remerge with USE="-gnome" emerge abiword
  - Network printers - ipp.  port 9100 versus 631?
  - http://www.linuxprinting.org/cups-doc.html has nice info
  - I made my PPD file for my postscript printer with the PPD-O-Matic at
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_driver.cgi?driver=Postscript

  - perhaps more info on the foomatic-configure options, a couple of real-world
examples.  Which names are vitally important to remember, etc.

  - /etc/cups/cupsd.conf doesn't seem to Listen localhost or Listen hostname by
default.  (can't access with browser until that's set)

Obviously not everything in this bug needs to be addressed in the updated doc,
but the doc does need to be updated.
