When I print a multi-page document from evince, all pages look right except the first. The first page invariably has a light, sans-serif monospace font (a gnome default somewhere?). Although the font is monospace, the spacing appears to be proportional, so that the letters are jammed up together and even overlap. This also occurs when I print any single page in the middle of a document. When I print multiple pages from the middle of a document (say, pages 10-15), the first one has this problem and the rest are fine. The same documents print without problems in acroread. Also, evince displays the documents correctly on my monitor. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.print from evince 2. 3. Actual Results: Wrong font on first page of any range of pages and on any single page printed. Expected Results: The pages should appear on paper as they appear on the screen. I'm running gnome 2.12 and evince 0.4.0-r2
This is supposed to be fixed by poppler-0.4.3, just committed to the tree. Could you try with that and report back?
Yep, poppler 0.4.3 did the trick. Thanks very much.
Changing status to fixed.
