Unless we can determine this to be something specifically with your system, we will probably have to CANTFIX this, sicne it is a binary game. Can you run the game through strace and post the output here as an attachment?
Also, are you running modular X or no?
No response... Also, I cannot reproduce this on either x86 or amd64.
