hi! just wanted to let u know that i'm working on an ebuild for Clam AntiVirus greetings, LordVan What is Clam AntiVirus ? Clam AntiVirus is an anti-virus scanner written from scratch. It is licensed under GNU GPL2 and uses the virus database from OpenAntiVirus, which is an another free anti-virus project. In contrast to the OpenAntiVirus (which is written in Java), Clam AntiVirus is written entirely in C and POSIX compliant.
any news on this ?
yes .. i have more time again for gentoo stuff :)
Ok great.. so any news? Last time I checked openav only had 1700 defs tops in it's vdb which almost near made it useless in real life. Hopefully this has this improved. I seem to remember it had it had some sort of db definition importer. If this is still the case can be done can we find a legal way to import/expand some of the default definitions, if that still a limitation the only lmitations of it
