When run, gives the error message: "streamtuner: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" I've re-emerged both curl and streamtuner with the latest versions and still get this error. What's odd is that when run under root, streamtuner can find the libcurl libraries just fine (but then has no data files)--at least that's what I assume, since it executes without an error message. I only get this when run from a user login. Not sure where libcurl.so.2 resides... I see a libcurl.so.3, but no .so.2 version. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. eat a cookie 2. run 'streamtuner' 3. read error Actual Results: When run, gives the error message: "streamtuner: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" Expected Results: Program should have executed without errors emerge info dump: Portage 2.0.51.22-r3 (default-linux/x86/2005.0, gcc-3.3.6, glibc-2.3.5-r2, 2.6. 8-gentoo-r3 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.8-gentoo-r3 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) XP Gentoo Base System version 1.6.13 dev-lang/python: 2.2.3-r5, 2.3.5-r2, 2.4.2 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.12 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r1 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16.1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.20 virtual/os-headers: 2.4.19-r1, 2.6.11-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -pipe -O2" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.1/share/config /usr/kde /3.2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutd own /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3 /share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/confi g/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/sha re/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon-xp -pipe -O2" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.osuosl.org/ ftp://csociety-ftp.ecn.purdue.edu/pub /gentoo/ ftp://mirror.iawnet.sandia.gov/pub/gentoo/ ftp://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu/ gentoo/ ftp://cudlug.cudenver.edu/pub/mirrors/distributions/gentoo/ ftp://gento o.ccccom.com ftp://gentoo.mirrors.tds.net/gentoo http://mirror.clarkson.edu/pub /distributions/gentoo/ ftp://ftp.ndlug.nd.edu/pub/gentoo/" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 X aalib alsa apm arts audiofile avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-font s bzip2 cdr clisp crypt cups curl dflib dvd eds emboss encode esd exif expat fa ad2 fam ffmpeg flac foomaticdb fortran gd gdbm gif glut gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 idn imagemagick imlib ipv6 java jpeg junit kde lcms libg++ libwww lua mad map m hash mikmod mng motif mp3 mpeg mpi nas ncurses nls ogg oggvorbis openal opengl oss pam pcre pdflib perl plotutils png python qt quicktime readline sdl slang s pell ssl stroke svga tcltk tcpd tetex tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts usb vorbis xine xml xml2 xmms xv xvid zlib userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glib c" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY
