Description Matthias Nagl 2005-12-06 11:14:21 UTC
After upgrading to kmail-3.5.0-r1 the following problem appeared. I think it
wasnt't there for kmail-3.5.0 but I am not shure because I started that
version only a few times (it crashed when I clicked on the "get-mail" button).
The 3.4.3-version worked without problems.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install kmail-3.5.0-r1
2. Start Kmail
Actual Results:
IMAP-Subfolders are not on the same level as the inbox
(Courier-Imap-Server)
although Namespaces->Personal is correctly (and automatically) set to INBOX.
Changing the field to other values doesn't have any effect.

Expected Results:
inbox, sent-mail, trash etc should be on the same level.

Comment 1 Matthias Nagl 2005-12-06 11:32:31 UTC
I tried to start the old KDE3.4.3 kmail again. In its settings the Folder
Prefix disappeared. After resetting it the Folder-hierarchy is fixed. When I
start the new kmail afterwards the folder structure is also ok, but if I try
to edit the IMAP-settings with the 3.5.0 kmail the prefix-setting stops
working.

What about 3.5.0-r3?
Comment 3 Matthias Nagl 2005-12-15 14:02:18 UTC
Sadly 3.5.0-r3 didn't fix this bug. It is also dicussed here:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115426
Although this discussion seems a bit confused to me.

I assume this is still a problem, seeing the uptream bug still open?!

Please update to the latest split kdepim ebuilds and report back, if you still have the problem.
