Since avifile is to be removed from portage and zphoto depends oo it.... I had to find a way to compile zphoto without avifile.... Since I DON'T pack movies via zphoto, a simple hack on the latest zphoto ebuild to remove avifile dependencies was in order. Edit the ebuild, remove all mentions of avifile and in the "configure" command line add in "--disable-avifile" then re-digest the ebuild and zphoto will then emerge normally. Zphoto has all the appearence of being a dead project... maybe someone more gifted than myself would do the world a favor and fork it. Cheers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
