Description Leonardo Ferreira Fontenelle 2005-12-03 16:26:57 UTC
"Steps to Reproduce" will explain it better!

I was not able to get a gdb of it, so I hope strace will help.

It seems to be reproducible with some web pages (opened from liferea) but maybe
not others.

If someone thinks it's not a Gentoo-related problem, warn me and I'll report it
myself to the package's own bug tracker.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run liferea and update the feeds.
2. Middle-click an url to open it on a tab inside liferea
   * tested with http://www.vivaolinux.com.br/artigos/verArtigo.php?codigo=4133
3. Open evolution or epiphany, and open an html mail or a web page
4. Switch back to liferea
5. Hang: controls are not entirely shown, only "white-text-area" versus
"control-color-rest-of-window" but not text, pictures etc
6. Pressing the Close window button pops a dialog stating that the app doesn't
respond anymore, kill it?
7. Bug Buddy isn't activated.

Actual Results:
See Steps.

Expected Results:
Normal functioning.

Caution! The unziped file is almost 5MB large.

Personally I don't see how this would be related to the Liferea ebuilds. Please do as you said and file your bug upstream, thanks!
