Description Mrugesh Karnik 2005-12-03 06:57:58 UTC
I upgraded to KDE 3.5 and tried to recompile amarok 1.3.6 with visualization USE
flag. With KDE 3.4, this build went perfectly. Not so with 3.5.

I have libvisual-0.2.0 installed. amarok compiles fine with -visualization.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compile amarok-1.3.6 with +visualization with KDE 3.4 installed
2. Upgrade KDE to 3.5
3. Try to recompile amarok-1.3.6 with +visualiztion

Actual Results:
Making all in libvisual

Comment 2 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-15 14:11:40 UTC
I'm quite sure your problem is that libSDL is linked against the 3.4's arts.
Check that sdl is built with +arts, then try to rebuild it.
If it works, close this as INVALID.
Comment 3 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-16 17:31:53 UTC
revdep-rebuild should now support .la file messup.
