After looking up a word in ding by supplying the word to look up as a command-line argument and closing ding, X gets frozen and I cannot move windows around, change window focus or anything like that. Can you try another window manager?
I ran ding in xfce and it exited flawlessly. I did have xcompmgr 1.1.3 running at the time. Ding has frozen evilwm every time. Is there any sort of tracing I can do to help squash this bug?
I've just commited an ebuild for evilwm-0.99.21. I couldn't reproduce the problem with this version and xcompmgr. An older one got frozen here too. Can you please test it? (Takes an hour before the ebuild is available on the mirrors.)
closing cause it works for me with latest versions
Sorry about not testing it earlier. I didn't want to risk losing all my open tabs and stuff when I got the email from bugzilla and I guess I didn't think about openeing a seperate xsession. The fix works great though, so I believe this bugger should get properly closed.
