Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection is an assortment of single-player puzzle games. It contains a reimplementation of Minesweeper where every puzzle is guaranteed to be solvable, a number of logic puzzles originally invented by Nikoli, an implementation of Sudoku, and an assortment of other familiar and not-so-familiar puzzle games perfect for energizing your brain during a coffee break. http://happypenguin.org/show?Simon%20Tatham%27s%20Portable%20Puzzle%20Collection http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/puzzles/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 89400 [details] Proposed ebuild My ebuild for "Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection". Should be at games-puzzle/simon-tatham-puzzles. The tarball contains a LICENCE file. I guess it should be added to portage/licenses. Although the Makefile states the it can be compiled using either GTK+ 2 or GTK+ 1.2, the ebuild explicitly depends on >=GTK+-2.0. It works for me.
Although the site provides versioned tarballs, there is no obvious version printed at site (I've not tried to contact upstream yet). To find current version, try this: wget -S --spider http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/puzzles/puzzles.tar.gz 2>&1 | grep ' .puzzles-r[0-9]' The current version now is 6773. Just renaming the ebuild will work.
Created attachment 129486 [details] simon-tatham-puzzles-7703.ebuild This is my proposed ebuild to the last version available on site (r7703). The ebuild would create .desktop files, but it requires full pathname to make it work (because one of the games - net - has the same name of a net-fs/samba program: /usr/bin/net) and the "make_desktop_entry" does not allow me to specify the full pathname. A solution is to manually make all .desktop files and just let the ebuild copy them to the correct place.
Just to comment that 7703 ebuild still works in the latest version (by just renaming it), and currently the latest version is 8259. In addition, I know it works on both x86 and amd64. (and maybe others?)
Created attachment 193113 [details] Another ebuild Ebuild for r8541. This ebuild installs .desktop files and icons. It also installs HTML documentaion if doc USE flag is set.
Created attachment 201193 [details] ebuild; changed halibut dep Changed Halibut dependency to >=app-doc/halibut-1.0 (halibut-0.9 can't generate Texinfo, PDF or Postscript). Also, r8541 is no longer available from Simon's site.
cleaned up and added to cvs, thanks for the ebuilds !
