I have now commited the ebuild as testing. I don't have an omnibook, so i cannot test it. I removed the automatic module loading from the ebuild. It is not gentoo-style to do such things automatically. The user should decide if he want's to have the module in modules.autoload.
Created attachment 6921 [details, diff] patch to omnibook ebuild The ebuild in the CVS has "odoc" which should probably be "dodoc". (error seeding?) The attached patch also adds "die" if the make fails.
Mikko: Thanks, applied your patch.
Well there is a new version of the module. I am sending the ebuild for it (I am using it and it works ok). Also i changed the ebuild so that the module is not installed in /lib/modules/${KV}/kernel/drivers/char because that directory is deleted
