Currently there does not appear to be anyway to install QT based applications to work with TIFF files. TiffIO located at http://artis.imag.fr/Software/TiffIO/ is a QT plugin that enables TIFF support for QT. If this is installed on a system all QT applications that work with graphics files will have TIFF support enabled with no need to in anyway change the application. At the system level if the user has set use=tiff then this should be installed when QT is installed. I have hand installed this on my amd64 machine and it works great and has not caused any problems. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open QT application that has a file dialog to open graphics files 2. In the app try to open a tiff file 3. Actual Results: It fails Expected Results: It should open the file
The latest version of qt4 have tiff support. Closing.
