You must enable gnome support in pygtk and then you can install gajim.

Erm, how do you do that for pygtk versions missing gnome use flag? :=)

REOPEN.
Comment 4 Brendan Taylor 2005-12-06 14:44:46 UTC
It works fine here if I comment out the lines checking for the USE flag.

See my ebuild in #116606, it fixes bug #103056.
Comment 6 Arvid Picciani 2006-03-08 22:37:05 UTC
did comment it out and installed, works fine, but why does it depend on it? did earlier versions of pygtk have a gnome flag?
if not, the check for it should be deleted, if yes, the check should depend on the version of pygtk.

No! You can't delete it. See the ebuild for 0.9/0.9.1, it's fixed there. But bug #103056 is not really fixed because of 0.8.2. :-/
Comment 9 Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-19 22:32:43 UTC
If there is no movement on this in the next few days, I'll fix the remaining ebuild so we can close this out.
Comment 10 Gustavo Felisberto (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-06 09:12:53 UTC
fixed in 0.10
