Works fine for me, try again after doing an "emerge sync", it looks like the
maintainer fixed this in July.

I still see the problem after an "emerge sync".

The fPIC patch in -r1 fixes this.

pda herd: do you think -r1 is ready to be stabilized?

this took too much time it's stable on amd64
