Comment 3 Jens Ott 2005-11-23 04:32:03 UTC
Cacti-CactiD itself works excellent with MySQL-5 as it only has a few simple
SELECT-Statements without any JOINs ... therefore there is no longer a need to
have the DEPEND !>=mysql-5 nor to have RDEPEND= !>=mysql-5

Comment 4 Lance Albertson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-24 08:40:42 UTC
Upstream says [1] to wait until they release the next version which will support
mysql-5. I would rather wait for that than introduce something like this and
deal with any bugs on it. If you want to help upstream with your patch, or any
other issues with using mysl-5, please do so! :-)

Going to mark as wontfix unless upstream says different.
