when booting on a read only root (diskless via nfs)
the following messages appear at the end of the boot (juste before the login) :

/sbin/splash-functions.sh: line 241: /lib/splash/cache/levels: Read-only file system
/sbin/splash-functions.sh: line 242: /lib/splash/cache/levels: Read-only file system

but the splash works fine

Should be fixed in splashutils-1.3.
