I can't quite reproduce your bug, so this make take a while to figure out... I appreciate your interest, but filing duplicates won't help much, though.
I found that this bug occurs, if 'MAKEOPTS="-j2"' or 'MAKEOPTS="-j3"' is set in make.conf. If I comment this line this bug disappears. Regards juergen
Okies, parallel make is indeed bugged up. I just added -j1 to emake to fix this. Thanks for reporting!
