Description Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-17 08:07:56 UTC
dev-db/knoda-0.7.4-r1 and dev-db/hk_classes-0.7.4a are candidate for going
stable, please give them a try.
Comment 1 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-18 21:55:09 UTC
Stable on SPARC
Comment 2 nixnut (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-19 04:31:32 UTC
Tested on ppc.
The KPSWidget doesn't seem to like ssp. Otherwise it works very nicely.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge knoda
2. connect to a database
3. create and save a report
4. try to generate the report

Actual Results:
knoda: stack smashing attack in function KPSWidget::KPSWidget(QWidget*, const
char*)()
Aborted

Expected Results:
Report is generated and shown.

hrm, i can't connect to my mysql server (which is on another box, tried to
create a ssh-tunnel, but that didn't help). can someone else please try this on
amd64? it's probably just a problem with my suckyness ;)
Comment 5 Albert Bergonzo 2005-12-04 00:46:17 UTC
Tried on ~amd64. Failed to build.

The bug is not reproducible, so it is likely a hardware or OS problem.

Comment 6 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-05 05:35:03 UTC
Is the error reproducible?
Comment 7 Albert Bergonzo 2005-12-13 01:11:17 UTC
(In reply to comment #6)
> Is the error reproducible?

I am deeply sorry for the misleading report, a defective memory module on my
computer was the real problem.

I have just compiled knoda quite successfully on ~amd64.

My sincere apologies,
Albert

Comment 8 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-23 13:22:04 UTC
it was a problem with my setup, both marked stable on amd64
Comment 9 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-08 00:27:26 UTC
Hansmi already marked these ppc stable. Closing since we're the last arch.
