I use gnucash and since I switched my system to use an utf8 locale (de_DE.utf8) gnucash always crashes after some seconds. The attached patch adds a bit of code to the wrapper-script which changes the used locale to the non-utf8 one. This will work as all files supplied with gnucash (translations etc.) are written in ISO-8859-x. With patch gnucash shows localized texts correct.

Gnucash crashes not always, but when working with files created in other encoding. This means the problem occurs when switching gnucash between utf8 and non-utf8 locale encoding.
Created attachment 89513 [details, diff] patch to add utf8 removal to gnucash-wrapper
Can you test gnucash-2.0.1 please?
gnucash-2.0.1 solves this issue any way and it is pushed to stable for x86 and amd64 (other arches follow in about 3 weeks).
