it fails. That's all I could decipher on my own, aside from "failed to compile
modules target."

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.install with the gentoo-sources
2.wait a very long time
3.

Actual Results:
Ahem:
* Gentoo Linux Genkernel; Version 3.3.6[0m
* Running with options: all --no-bootsplash

* [1mERROR:[00m [1mFailed[00m to compile the "modules" target...

Expected Results:

This isn't an installer bug. It also isn't a genkernel bug (or atleast they'd
like you to think that :P). Compile failures happen. If you happened to grab the
/var/log/genkernel.log from the chroot like the genkernel error said, we may be
able to tell you why the compile failed.

The 'Expected results' thing is a generic bugzilla feature, and not necessarily
relevant to the installer. I don't think it would keep you from filing the bug
if you left it blank.

Moving to Release Media/Installer.
