Is it possible to make a KDE LiveCD that runs the GTK+ installer? Because my friend would love one, as would I. I would like to see how KDE runs on my PC before I compile it. Thanks! Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1.Put in the LiveCD. Actual Results: Gnome started instead of KDE. Expected Results: Make a KDE LiveCD. is it possible for me to make my own kde livecd for my friend if you can't?
This has nothing to do with the Installer project.
As for making a KDE CD, the answer is a resounding no. For one, I have no interest in it. Second, it won't fit on a CD, I already tried. There will be a combined KDE/Gnome LiveDVD at some point, but since this thing is completely still experimental, it'll be a while.
OK, thanks for the info.
Well, the LiveDVD now has both on it. There's no plans (at all) for creating a KDE-based LiveCD, mostly due to size constraints.
