It's stable, at least on my Mach64. No mysterious crashes, just a minor glitch in _some_ textures caused by a quirk of my particular setup. (If I were not lazy I could fix it by setting my depth to 15 bpp instead of 16 bpp.) Currently, there is no other 2.6-compatible version of this package keyworded ppc. Desired behavior would be to have working 3D acceleration (glxgears/glxinfo) at a reasonable speed. Except for nv, since that module only offers DMA capabilities for use with EXA.

Presumably you installed and uninstalled x11-drm, but, as kernel modules do, they stuck around after uninstallation. Upon reinstallation, aha! They collide.
