In all the handbooks (at least the ones I checked) I found that the
bootstrapping and the emerging of the base system is skipped. Instead the
handbook directly jumps to kernel configuration.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-amd64.xml?part=1&chap=6
Actual Results:  
No bootstrapping and base system emerging found in the handbook.

Expected Results:  
Expected to find a chapter about bootstrapping and merging the base system
before kernel configuration.
