From the Changelog, available at: http://avidemux.berlios.de/dotclear/index.php?2005/10/16/3-avidemux-21-step3 --- Less bugs ? And when i thought all bugs were squashed... Here is 2.1 step3, that should be the last of the 2.1 series New * Zoom out for preview window, useful to edit HD stream * New UI for filters (Jakub) * Better Estimated Time Left (Andy Lord) * Vobsub creation can be called from commandline * ESD was added as audio device * Display if audio is MP3 VBR in properties dialog Fix * Some gcc 2.95 compatibility fixes (Jens) * Fix liba52 detection by configure (Cyrille) * H263 check when encoding (Ydrol) * Random crash when opening files * More error proof vobsub handling * Wrong bitrate used in CBR mode * No decoding of some vobsub * Correct time evalution for normalize * Fixed build VBR time map when done upon loading * Fixed bitstream unpacker that failed in some rare case
Tell upstream to merge the patches that are currently applied to step1 (I sent them after I created them). It took me two days to fix them from 2.0 to 2.1 (also if I sent the 2.0 patches to upstream), and now they don't apply anymore. If you feel like updating all of them to apply to step3, it'll be fine. At the moment I don't have the actual time to start re-patching 2.1step[23] to get the patches applied again. And no, using it without patches is not going to work too well (undeclared deps).
