Tell upstream to merge the patches that are currently applied to step1 (I sent
them after I created them).

It took me two days to fix them from 2.0 to 2.1 (also if I sent the 2.0
patches to upstream), and now they don't apply anymore. If you feel like
updating all of them to apply to step3, it'll be fine. At the moment I don't
have the actual time to start re-patching 2.1step[23] to get the patches
applied again.

And no, using it without patches is not going to work too well (undeclared
deps).
