Description Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-10 14:00:05 UTC
Please test and stabilize =x11-misc/xstroke-0.6.
Comment 1 Ferris McCormick (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-11 11:51:05 UTC
Sparc stable. At least, it builds and seems to run.
Comment 2 Michael Hanselmann (hansmi) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-14 13:48:40 UTC
ppc and hppa done.
Comment 3 AJ Armstrong 2005-11-14 17:36:51 UTC
xstroke is not currently ~amd64
Comment 4 AJ Armstrong 2005-11-14 17:43:34 UTC
And, it segfaults on my amd64 machine, so that may be why. Will file bug.
Comment 5 AJ Armstrong 2005-11-14 17:49:14 UTC
Done. See bug 112567
Comment 6 AJ Armstrong 2005-11-14 20:06:50 UTC
Indications are that segfault may be at my end, and not an issue with package.
I can't mark stable, but don't see why some other amd64'er couldn't. Apologies.
Comment 7 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-15 03:21:26 UTC
not even ~amd64
Comment 8 Scott Stoddard (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-15 13:22:45 UTC
segfault for me as well on amd64. same situation as AJ (suggest re-opening of
your other bug):

open("/etc/xstroke/alphabet", O_RDONLY) = 6
ioctl(6, SNDCTL_TMR_TIMEBASE or TCGETS, 0x7fffff9e8980) = -1 ENOTTY
(Inappropriate ioctl for device)
fstat(6, {st_mode=S_IFREG|0644, st_size=29684, ...}) = 0
mmap(NULL, 131072, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) =
0x2aaaabfd0000
read(6, "# alphabet -- xstroke alphabet c"..., 131072) = 29684
--- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
+++ killed by SIGSEGV +++
Comment 9 Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-15 13:34:24 UTC
As blubb and aja stated - that package isn't in ~amd64. It was my mistake - I
shouldn't add amd64 to CC. Blame the auto-fill of forms in Firefox ;)
Comment 10 Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-11 13:14:08 UTC
Closing unneeded stabilization bug.
