After 19 months the jpilot team has a new release and we need an ebuild in the gentoo portage tree. I've made an ebuild file and tested it for the x86 architecture. I will attach it to this bug report. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created attachment 72599 [details] Proposed ebuild for new jpilot release Compared to the existing ebuild the new one uses parallel emake, adds the AUTHORS file to the doc directory, and uses jpilot-icon4 rather than jpilot-icon3 in the desktop file.
Created attachment 76126 [details] New ebuild with 2 epatches Two important patches have been made to the 0.99.8 version of jpilot. I'm including a tar.gz file which contains the new ebuild and patches. I have tested the ebuild as an overlay on my local machine but the ebuild needs to be added to the main portage tree.
