DosBox lacks a .desktop file and, as such, lacks a menu item in many (probably all) desktop environments. I have attached one which I created. As far as I can tell, it complies with the newest version (0.9.4) of the standard. The submitted file references the suggested icon which I am also attaching. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Actual Results: No entry appears in the menus after emerging. Expected Results: An entry should appear.

This one doesn't even make any sense. Dosbox is most useful when you point it at an application, not just starting it without arguments.
I beg to differ. It works very well if you set a bunch of defaults in ~/.dosboxrc and pull one of those old batchfile-based menu systems out of the mess of 3.5" diskettes in the closet.
