Hi.

From looking at the patch notes and diffs for -r16 one could belive that
QMAIL+patches now allowed for a specified sending ip addresse.

How exactly is this done.. the patches uses a variable called smtphost but
showctl does not understand it.

from the manpage of qmail-remote:

CONTROL FILES
...
       outgoingip
            IP address to be used on outgoing connections.  Default:
            system-defined.  The value 0.0.0.0 is equiva-
            lent to the system default.

We won't add more patches to mail-mta/qmail. Please use mail-mta/netqmail with QMAIL_PATCH_DIR.
