When import wxPython in Python 2.4, wxPython not found even it was installed.
(wxGTK was also installed)

when running application using wxpython. It errors.

$ btdownloadgui.py
wxPython is either not installed or has not been installed properly.

wxPython was installed on /usr/lib64/wx and /usr/lib64/wxpython
and no wxpython or wx directories in /usr/lib/python2.4/

I have the same problem.
Python programs fails while importing wx with following message:

Resolved by emerging wxpython-2.6.1 which is stable on AMD64.

I have the same problem, with wxpython 2.6.1.0.

Reopen if you can reproduce w/ 2.6.3.3
