Hi to all!
My name is Luca and from 1 year I work with GIS software on LINUX. I always
used ebuild from bugs to install my package, because right now there aren't
software like MAPSERVER or QGIS in portage. My attention will focus on GIS
software, working both with comunity and development teams (especially for
QGIS) to have this great packages inside portage.

Greetings
Luca

The first thing we should do, is to insert MAPSERVER on portage.Mapserver is a
great tool, used a lot in the world;right now we have a nice working ebuild on
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69417. Then we can move to QGIS
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56262, but with this we have to ceck the
ebuild better.
Bye

Recruitee doesn't respond, closing this as CANTFIX.

If someone wants to mentor him, I can take him from the recruiters side.
Comment 13 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2006-10-06 11:05:44 UTC
I can mentor him
Comment 14 Danny van Dyk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-06 18:50:36 UTC
You're not getting the point. There is _no recruitee_.

We have a mentor (lu_zero) and a recruit_er_ (me), but no recruit_ee_(Doktor).
