It would be nice if we had an ebuild for Loki Games' demo launcher [available at
http://www.lokigames.com/products/demos.php3].

It makes more sense, from a package management perspective, to create ebuilds for the game demos, e.g. bug #120422.

Correct.  I would much rather add an ebuild for each demo individually, since there are already some in the tree.  If you have any specific demos that you would like to see added to the tree, file a bug report for each one.
