Updated this ebuild to change dependency from avifile to mlt and mlt++. These have yet to be added to the portage but I tried the versions in bugzilla, and they worked perfectly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Run Jahshaka 2.Open .avi file 3.Play and/or stop file Actual Results: avifile related errors, followed by a segmentation fault. Expected Results: performed properly Many postings on Jahshaka's forum website pointed to the same issues with avifile, and noted that mlt is much more stable.
Created attachment 72234 [details] modified ebuild Must retrieve mlt and mlt++ related ebuilds and patches into the local/portage tree, or wait for them to appear in media-libs/mlt & media-libs/mlt++ respectively.
I'll put mlt in portage sooner or later, if anyone wants to please test and commit/improve the ebuild currently provide in bugzilla...
