Thoutreader is a document/book reader currently written in java (afaik, plans are under way for another platform, python maybe?). The main developer, Gary Varnell has taken most of Gentoo's documents (both end user and developer) and converted them to the thoutreader format. Additional free books are available, along with options to purchase books (such as OReilly). The cool thing about this is that it is searchable. Looking for someone from the java team to put this into portage. The OSoft team has been working with myself, spyderous, and SwifT in the past. I think we all agree that having a searchable desktop base of Gentoo's docs would be A Cool Thing(tm). The app can be found at http://www.osoft.com Gary's email is gvarnell@osoft.com and is very open to helping with any problems. If someone could whip up an ebuild for this I would appreciate it! Thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I looked on the website, and I only could find the source code for version 1.8.0 Where is the latest source code?
No progress here for 1 year, closing WONTFIX. Feel free to reopen with an ebuild.
