Description Nicholas Wourms 2002-11-24 07:48:44 UTC
I have updated the apm application and library ebuild to the latest available.
For some reason the homepage has not been updated to reflect this. However
since it is developed by a debian maintainer, debian has the most recent version
available. Thus I have updated the source URI to point to a debian url for
download. Some of the benefits of the new new package include shared libraries
w/ libtool support and more functionality. Finally, I have updated the ebuild
to install properly and to build the xbattery client. You might want to review
the init scripts, but I think they should still work fine. Enjoy!

This is out of my realm, apmd doesn't even run on ppc ;) tossing back to
bug-wrangers

The ebuild is pointing to ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/a/apmd ,
but in the meantime there is only 3.2.0 available and not 3.1 anymore.

You really gotta keep up with these Debian guys ;-)
