Veusz is a scientific plotting package written in Python. It uses PyQt (Wiki) and Numarray. Veusz is designed to produce publication-ready Postscript output. I tried to make an ebuild. Here it is. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created attachment 72097 [details] veusz-0.8.ebuild Seems to work here
reworked slightly the ebuild, it is now in the sci overlay (http://gentooscience.org): - doc part is now OK - added fits use flag (to use with pyfits also in gentooscience) - license is gpl
Needed a little extra work on the white space and the IUSE but it looks good. I have added this to the main tree, without the fits USE flag for now. That can be added back once that gets in the main tree (need confirmation of the licence first). Thanks for the hard work - seems to produce really nice looking graphs. I may just use this instead of qtiplot!
Forgot to assign to sci first...
Added - thanks!
