Description Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-03 16:32:35 UTC
I'm using xfce4 for modular X, and modular X of course. these packages are
masked, and here's some things to fix before removing them from package.mask:

xfwm4 ebuild, for modular X checks if libXcomposite for it's build in
compositor, and it expects version 1.0 while it's 0.2.1 in /usr/lib/pkgconfig/
compositeproto.pc and it fails to emerge.

startxfce4 is using command "xrdb" and if it's missing it complains with a error
on console, after startx (with exec startxfce4 in .xinitrc)

thanks, S. Suominen
