eagle-usb no longer compiles as is with linux kernel 2.6.14. this is well-known and patches have been posted to lkml. the patch I propose uses #if to check the linux kernel version and conditionally offer the working alternative in that case. I tested this on linux 2.6.14 but not on earlier versions. It should be obvious that it changes nothing for earlier versions, but I have not actually tested it.
