Description Troy Telford 2005-11-03 10:29:20 UTC
I've been able to build (however I haven't tested) gnustep-libs/gdl2 on x86.
Currently, the ebuild has
KEYWORDS="~ppc" set

Perhaps ~x86 can be added to the KEYWORDS on this ebuild?
Comment 1 Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-05 00:18:24 UTC
gnustep herd: could we get the following resolved before I add ~x86 to keywords.
I'm assuming this is because this is a CVS snapshot. Can't you just make a
tarball and stick it on the mirrors? That seems a lot more sane.

--------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY ---------------------------
LOG FILE =
"/var/log/sandbox/sandbox-gnustep-libs_-_gdl2-0.9.2_pre20050312-32552.log"

mkdir: /root/.ssh
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Comment 2 Armando Di Cianno (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-10 12:14:10 UTC
I'll end up making a tarball at some point.

However, the access violation can be fixed by setting userpriv / usersandbox in
FEATURES. cvs.eclass uses `cvs`, and some cvs access methods use `ssh`; if
userpriv isn't set, the user is root, and root using ssh will create a
/root/.ssh dir.

For the purposes of this bug, expect a tarball version sometime in the near
future (sorry so vague, very busy lately).

i accidentally 'assigned' this bug -- setting back.

Refer to comments on bug #111379. After this is moved into a tarball, have no
problem with it being ~x86 so long as it works after it actually merges for me :)
