The next beagle release now depends on gsf-sharp to be able to index MS word
(.doc) files. It would be nice if we could get this into portage before that
beagle release comes out - .doc filtering is a quite substantial bit of
functionality to go without.
Comment 4 Daniel Drake (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-12 04:13:13 UTC
Renaming the ebuild in comment #1 to gsf-sharp-0.6.ebuild works fine as a bump
to the lastest version. The patch in comment #2 is not needed there.

Gentopia: it would be great if someone could pick this up. The new beagle
release is out and now depends on gsf-sharp for word document filtering. I've
tested this and it seems stable.

Would appreciate any assistance maintaining this if the offer is still open

I've added myself to the maintainer list at dsds request, closing :)
