Description Douglas Robertson 2005-11-01 12:16:07 UTC
A new version of the hsfmodem package (located in net-dialup/) has been
released. I've attached a new ebuild and have confirmed it to compile and work.
The .05 version will not work with the 2.6.14 kernel as the user receives a
URB_ASYNC_UNLINK undeclared error in osusb.c when building the modules.

Reproducible: Always

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

hsfcondig now seems to compile the modules (writes out "..done").
However it simply locks the machine. At least it looks like it: mouse and
keyboard does not work. Cannot even switch to the terminals. I had to reboot.

I am currently using eth0 and connected to to the internet.
Could this be the problem? Maybe I am missing options in kernel compile due to
the use of genkernel? Should I open a new bug report for this?

Thanks.
