Comment 3 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-04 05:47:17 UTC
Zeno, just for fun, can you do this:

emerge --oneshot \=app-text/docbook-xml-dtd-4.1.2-r5
emerge gnucash

and see if that does anything?

Comment 6 Aaron Walker (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-04 05:02:31 UTC
The above was on my main desktop box. I am not able to reproduce this on my
laptop (it installs fine). Both are ~x86 boxen and are almost identical
software-wise. The only difference I can see is that the laptop also has
docbook-xml-dtd-4.3 installed. Installing this on my desktop box does not fix
the problem, however.

emerge --info for the laptop:

Anyone from text-markup team have any ideas about this?
Comment 8 Leonardo Boshell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-24 15:36:52 UTC
This looks similar to a problem caused by a bug in libxslt, which should be fixed in >=libxslt-1.1.15-r1.

Could someone seeing this problem check what version of libxslt they have installed, and if necessary upgrade and see if the problem persists?
Comment 9 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-06 14:29:35 UTC
zeno, any input?

no response == fixed

please re-open if there are any other issues with this problem
