I have stepmania successfully installed using the stepmania-3.9_rc3 ebuild. It runs and everything. I am having a problem with adding songs, however. The ebuild installs the stepmania executable as /usr/bin/games/stepmania. The game starts up fine, but putting the song files I downloaded into /usr/games/bin/Songs/ does not work. StepMania tells me that there are no songs present. I did make sure that Songs and all files under it have the correct permissions by doing the chown root:games -R Songs, so its not a permissions problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge stepmania 2.ls /usr/bin/games 3. Notice that there is no directory for songs to be added. Actual Results: Unzipped songs to /usr/games/bin/Songs Ran stepmania Stepmania could not find songs Expected Results: Ebuild puts stepmania binary in /usr/games/bin/StepMania/stepmania Create directories /usr/games/bin/StepMania/Songs etc.
Songs belong in /usr/share/games/stepmania/Songs.
