Description Marco Correia 2005-10-28 06:59:41 UTC
The kde svn kio_slave doesn't work in konqueror. Nothing happens if I do for
example svn:/something.

I don't know if this is specific to gentoo or not but I could't find this error
in google, and found it twice on the gentoo forums:

http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-139251-highlight-kiosvn.html
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-361504-highlight-kiosvn.html

*** Confirming this on AMD64 with Gentoo-installation 2005.0 ***

Any help would be greatly appreciated.. :)

It does nothing or it gives a "protocol not supported" error?

It works for me, for instance with "svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/"

Comment 3 Marco Correia 2005-11-05 10:22:33 UTC
Actually in your example it displays the directory structure but there aren't
any svn related actions on the konqueror context menu (is it how it supposed to
be? if so, what is the point of kio_svn?) .

Anyway, that is better than with my own remote svn server, where really nothing
happens despite I can use svn with it from the command line with no problems at
all.

And can you use svn:/path-to-your-local-version ?
Thanks!

The README has all the infos:
http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdesdk/kioslave/svn/README?view=markup

It seems that functionality is very limited at this point, however local
repository should work with something like
svn+file:/path-to-your-local-version

I think this can be closed now...
