Description Dima Tisnek 2005-10-28 06:24:29 UTC
emerging initng installs 4 "named pipe" files in /etc

prw------- 1 root root 0 Oct 4 16:00 /etc/initng/in
prw------- 1 root root 0 Oct 4 16:00 /etc/initng/out
prw------- 1 root root 0 Oct 4 16:00 /etc/initng/in-test
prw------- 1 root root 0 Oct 4 16:00 /etc/initng/out-test

the consequence is that commands like 'grep -r something /etc' never finish.
dunno if it's just a 'bad taste' kind of issue or a real issue, annoys me
though!
