Description Lasse Bigum 2005-10-28 00:53:20 UTC
I don't know where to file this bug upstream, so I'm trying here in the hopes
that it will help.

xpdf has a switch that enables it to show a PDF in fullscreen. However, when
doing this, it seems like xfwm4 resizes it again to keep it within the desktop
size. Fluxbox handles this correctly.

Olivier Fourdan has replied that this is a bug with xpdf, which seems
reasonable.
Any hopes of getting it fixed?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start xpdf with a pdf in fullscreen: "xpdf -fullscreen some.pdf"
2. xpdf resizes so it fills the entire screen
3. xfwm4 resizes it to have the borders and window stay on screen.

Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
Expected xpdf to fill up the entire screen with the PDF.

Well i think this might be a xfwm4 problem... did you tried with older versions
of xfwm4 ? I Don't have any idea why this happens. I Have to close this bug
since i point this as a xfwm4 bug.

Don't know why I forgot to attach this link, but here it is.

I really take it as xpdf is at fault here. It sounds as if Olivier has seen this
before, so he probably has an idea about the cause.
