Description Yan Bulgak 2005-10-27 15:53:59 UTC
I emerged mozilla-firefox with "www-client/mozilla-firefox -*" line added to
/etc/portage/package.keywords

emerge tries to install mozilla-firefox-1.5_beta2-r1

When applying embed-typeaheadfind.patch
(/usr/portage/distfiles/embed-typeaheadfind.patch ),
the emerge fails with a request to send contents of the file
/var/tmp/portage/mozilla-firefox-1.5_beta2-r1/temp/embed-typeaheadfind.patch-10168.out

Please see attachment for file contents.

Sorry, this was my first bug. Didn't realize there was a handy --info switch.
Here's the output on my system:

Comment 4 Drew Winstel 2005-11-02 08:29:31 UTC
Experienced the same thing here.

For some reason, removing /usr/portage/distfiles/embed-typeaheadfind.patch and
re-downloading it seems to work.
Comment 5 Jory A. Pratt 2005-11-02 10:34:24 UTC
I have recreated the Manifest as the patch will always fail to pass md5sum when
being verified. This should take care of the problem. Reopen if it does not but
tested on x86 ppc and x86_64.
