Description Dan Noe 2005-10-26 13:03:52 UTC
Apache-Gallery 0.9.1 is a server side application that runs independantly of any
X. It currently is listed as depending on virtual/x11, why I can't figure out.

The "X" use flag is not set, and Apache::Gallery does not claim to depend on it
anyways.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run emerge -pv Apache-Gallery with keywords set
2. X11 is a dependency
3.

Actual Results:
Portage wants to install X11

Expected Results:
X11 should not be a dependancy for server side software.

From the INSTALL file:

INSTALLATION

Before you start installing Apache::Gallery you need to check
that you have the following installed:
...
- X11 libraries (ie, XFree86)

It turns out that X11 is only needed for imlib, so I removed the virtual/x11 dep
