I'm aware of the issue. Fluxbox isn't playing nice with Xft2. I'm working on it as I write this, but was hoping the pressure wouldn't be so great because the xft2 package is masked. On the other hand, Openbox wants to see Xft2, and I've had to pull some trickery to get it to play nice along side Fluxbox. It's being dealt with.
Xft2 is a masked, nonstable build, and break a handful of things. If Xft2 was released to the stable branch this would be a valid bug, however it not even in testing. Once Xft2 is declared stable/testing you're welcome to resubmit this bug.
